EVAW - resources on violence against women

UNIFEM has launched its virtual knowledge centre on ending violence against women (ENDVAWNOW.ORG) in three languages - English, French and Spanish. It includes a step-by-step guide for people who run projects or campaigns against VAW (Start Here: Programming Essentials, M&E) which are quite generic, i.e. they could be applied to virtually any kind of project.

The more interesting part are the twelve Programming Modules, which cover a broad range of topics including, among others, Adolescence & Youth, Conflict/Post-Conflict, Men & Boys and Safe Cities. Under each module, you'll find an introduction, guiding principles, basic tips for implementation, ideas for monitoring and a list of references.

The snag is that the site is still under construction, so you won't be able to retrieve any documents for some of the modules, and some links are dodgy. But it is an initiative worth watching.
